Vikings/Cowboys 10.17.10

I did it! I went to an NFL game. Vikings vs. Cowboys and Vikings won! The score was 24 to 21. This had to be one of the most amazing times I've ever had. I went with Karla, who I work with. She's a Vikings fan through and through. Anyway, it was AWESOME! I loved everything; the atmosphere, the people, the expensive hot dogs, getting to see the love of my life (AKA Brett Favre!). It was just awesome. I sincerely can't wait to go to another one. And I'm definitely a Vikings fan now, haha!

I did it!

I successfully went 30 consecutive days without drinking soda! This is amazing. I'm pretty proud of myself!

Time for some updates!

Well, let's see. One of the things I am in the process of doing is watching 26 movies I've never seen before beginning with each letter of the Alphabet. The first one I saw was The Goonies. I got made fun of by my mother and my husband for having never seen it. But we watched, and it was alright. But that's one down, 25 more to go.

I've gone 21 consecutive days without soda, and I must say, it's been difficult. This is by far the longest I've ever gone. And I've tried in the past to give up soda, but always failed. So, I'm pretty proud of myself and I have no doubt in my mind that I can go the last 9 days!

And.....WE BOUGHT A NEW CAR!! It's a 2007 red Dodge Caliber and it's beautiful. I was so excited to get that one crossed off the list! I will post pictures soon!

Other than those few things, it's kind of slow getting things going. It's hard because so many of the things I want to do involve Chris, and our schedules are not only busy, but they are almost completely opposite. Oh well, I have plenty of time, right!?

No More Soda!!!

Oh man, I am so addicted to pop. Sadly, there are plenty of days where I drink nothing but soda. But, one of my goals was to go 30 days without! And it was funny because on August 31 Chris had mentioned giving up soda. So we decided we'd start on September 1st and would continue for the 30 days of the month! So far so good!! (although this is only day three :) )

Here goes nothing!

I've never really been one to follow through on big projects. I make goals but never achieve them. I think it's because I'm so lazy that I just don't want to have to work for anything. But all that's about to change. I'm going to make 101 goals to achieve in 1001 days. I think it's doable. I just have to actually do it :) I can not take credit for this idea myself; my awesome Nestie friends brought it to my attention.
